The position goes well beyond traditional budgeting and reporting, with significant involvement in financial modeling, forecasting, capital management, valuation, strategic initiatives, and executive decision support.What You'll Do:Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting forecasting, strategic planning, capital decisions, and business initiativesLead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysisAnalyze financial performance and translate complex results into actionable recommendations for senior leadershipEvaluate strategic opportunities, investments, transactions, reinsurance structures, and capital deployment decisionsPerform valuation, pricing, return, and sensitivity analysesPartner closely with the CFO other senior leaders on key business initiativesPrepare executive-level presentations and support interactions with external stakeholdersLead complex analytical projects from concept through executionMentor junior finance professionals while remaining highly hands-on in the analysisWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field10+ years of experience with within FP& A, strategic finance, corporate development, or from Big 4 or advisory firms with significant life insurance, annuity, or reinsurance experience.Advanced financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and Excel skillsAbility to independently manage complex projects and communicate effectively with senior leadershipCFA, CPA, FSA, MBA, as well as experience with Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or similar analytics platforms, are all considered strong pluses.Why Consider It?Direct exposure to the CFO and executive leadershipHighly strategic and analytical role with visibility into major business decisionsCompetitive base pay, strong annual bonuses, equity and an 8% company contribution to 401k plan + Full medical, dental and vision.
