Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and updating medical histories with care and precision.
• Support physicians during exams and minor procedures by readying all necessary supplies and instruments.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens accurately for analysis.
• Ensure patient records are maintained up-to-date and confidential, adhering strictly to HIPAA standards.
• Coordinate patient appointments and assist with office communications to keep operations running smoothly.
• Provide patients with clear education on treatment plans, medications, and personalized skincare routines.
• Keep exam rooms and medical supplies meticulously clean and well-organized to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology-related practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer software.
