Application Security ArchitectBoston, MA – Local candidates, first preferenceHybrid onsite 3 days (Tues-Thurs onsite)6 months with possible extensionWe are hiring for an experienced Senior Application Security Architect. Must have the following background – local candidates are considered first, but open to nearby relocations.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an application security role, with hands-on experience in security architecture and risk assessments.Strong expertise in securing container environments and managing container security - OpenShift, Podman, and Docker.Experience with API management and security, especially with MuleSoft and Traceable.Proficiency in managing open source security and using tools such as NexusIQ.Experience with implementing Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) with Contrast Protect.Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.Nice to have (not required):Banking/financial services experienceRelevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.) are highly desirable.Please list years of experience:DegreeApplication security Security architectureRisk assessments.Expertise in securing container environments and managing container security OpenShiftPodmanDockerAPI management and security MuleSoftTraceable.Managing open source security NexusIQImplementing Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) with Contrast Protect
