Job Description
- Develop components/systems from initial design concept through full volume production.
- Provide feasibility input for development of designs from Product Design Office concepts.
- Establish and manage development timeline for the life of the project.
- Lead design while leveraging external design sources and internal CAD design resources.
- Validate virtual designs using CAE resources and perform physical validation via testing.
- Manage internal documentation for the release of systems and oversee tool construction.
- Conduct root cause analysis and determine corrective actions for assembly issues.
- This position is on-site at the assembly plant for vehicle pilot builds and production launch.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- 1+ year of Design Release Engineer experience is required.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service.
