Ideal Markets is PUMPED to announce our expansion! We are HIRING a full-time Store Manager in the Madisonville/Hopkins County area. The Store Manager will oversee daily operations, which include scheduling, training, and supervising staff. Additionally, they will play a key role in ensuring store profitability, managing inventory, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe environment. This position demands excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to flexible work schedules. The Store Manager will be responsible for fostering outstanding customer service, overseeing store operations, and driving maximum sales and profitability. This includes effective management of merchandise, inventory, expense control, and human resources. Furthermore, the Store Manager will ensure that all associates receive proper training, guidance, and motivation to help them achieve their highest performance levels.
Requirements:Preference will be given to applicants with retail/convenience store experience.
- You will assist the District Manager with oversight of the store operations
- You will help with hiring, supervising and working with the staff to accomplish daily tasks, recordkeeping and stocking
- You will help to maintain our high standards and provide fast and friendly service to our customers
- You will provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
- You will execute and oversee our respective food programs to ensure quality and efficiency for our customers
- Dependable Attendance and Flexible with Schedulable hours
- Enthusiastic attitude for customer service
- Professional presentation and interpersonal communications
- Ability to motivate others
- Ability to achieve performance standards
- Ability to meet physical demands such as walking, standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Must be 20+ years of age at time of hire
