About the Company Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced Autonomous Vehicles that push the boundaries of defense technology. The Autonomous Vehicles integrate complex electro‑mechanical systems, high‑precision sensors, and cutting‑edge software to operate in challenging environments. Position Overview The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for a team of 20+ engineers across both hardware and software. It will be essential for you to come from an engineering background with strong autonomy experience within the defense and/or aerospace industry. With huge ambitious plans to scale from 50 to 270 by 2027 this is a unique opportunity where you will be able to have a significant impact from day 1. Responsibilities and Expectations Lead a team of 20+ engineers across hardware and software. Drive scaling from 50 to 270 engineers by 2027. Maintain the company culture while achieving growth goals. Operate in a fast‑paced, dynamic start‑up environment. Qualifications Engineering background with strong autonomy experience within defense and/or aerospace. Experience with high‑integrity, high‑stakes engineering environments.
