Staff PharmacistA busy retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care in a dynamic environment. This role offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team of pharmacists and technicians, managing a volume of approximately 3,000 prescriptions weekly using the PioneerRx system.Location: Mount Sterling, KYPosition Type: Full Time, Contract to HireSchedule:Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMSaturday coverage 1 to 2 times per month, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PMKey Responsibilities:Verify and accurately dispense prescriptionsProvide thorough patient counseling and answer medication-related inquiriesSupervise pharmacy workflow and assist pharmacy techniciansUtilize PioneerRx pharmacy system for prescription processingEnsure compliance with Kentucky and federal pharmacy laws and regulationsSupport daily operations in a high-volume retail settingDeliver exceptional customer service to patients and colleaguesQualifications and Desired Experience:Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standingRecent retail pharmacy experience preferredProficiency with PioneerRx is a plusAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapable of working both independently and collaborativelyWillingness to provide Saturday coverage 1 to 2 times monthlyThis contract-to-hire opportunity offers a competitive $63 per hour rate within a strong support environment featuring 2 pharmacists and 5-6 technicians on weekdays, and 1 pharmacist with 3-4 technicians on Saturdays.Pharmacists passionate about providing top-notch patient care in a thriving retail setting are encouraged to apply.
