Heavy Equipment Repair Technician

Payrate: $38.00 - $39.00/hr.


Summary:
This position is responsible for training facility staff on equipment systems, fleet maintenance, and repairs. The role involves assisting in pre-production machine serviceability evaluations, assembly and disassembly duties, maintaining records, and ensuring cleanliness and adherence to Contamination Control Guidelines. Building relationships with product groups to support the facility and fleet is also key.


Responsibilities:

• Train facility staff on equipment systems, fleet maintenance, and repairs.
• Assist in pre-production machine serviceability evaluations for New Product Introduction programs.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of machines, and manage loading and unloading upon arrival/departure.
• Maintain records of equipment, attachments, and parts.
• Ensure cleanliness of service bay areas and adhere to Contamination Control Guidelines.
• Complete service letters on client equipment fleet.
• Build and maintain relationships with product groups to support the facility and fleet.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Degree not required, but technical certifications should be noted on the resume.

• Experience with heavy equipment repair.
• Welding experience and/or certification.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and using diagnostic tools and applications.
• Preferred experience in assembly and disassembly of heavy equipment within construction and mining industries.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $38.00 - $39.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
