Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of critical care experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required Must-Have: Candidates must have at least 2 years of critical care experience. Candidates must have at least 2 years of hospital or travel experience. Description: This role requires providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care. The position also involves monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to changes in condition. Candidates are expected to float to other areas as needed when census is low. Experience with central lines and bedside tracheostomy procedures is preferred. Knowledge of Meditech is advantageous. Candidates should be aware that visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Maintaining a professional appearance is essential, including adherence to the scrub color policy. Nurses are expected to work a minimum of four weekend shifts per four-week schedule. This position emphasizes teamwork and effective communication with the healthcare team.
