Job Summary Obtains financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Maintains all Capital Projects - Logs, CER’s, Disposals & Transfers, Substitutions, and Slot Valuations. Submits information to Fixed Asset Team. Accounts Payable – On Demand Checks, Coding and research, etc. . Preparation of check requests as needed. Cage authorized signers for checks (add, remove) Receipt and tracking of mail in checks and tickets. Generating reports for departments from Oracle for visibility into P&Ls (weekly, monthly, etc.) Monthly and Quarterly Audits –Fuelman, Retail outlets, Card and Dice, etc. Monthly Inventories – Food and Beverage with preparation of entry and submission to CEBS. Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Need Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting; preferably as an accountant Skilled in Microsoft Word & Excel Oracle experience preferred Effective communication skills, both verbally and written Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Familiar with data processing. Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations required. Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.
