Commissioning Manager - Mission Critical Are you a commissioning leader ready to take ownership of the process end to end on some of the most complex, mission-critical facilities being built today? A commercial construction business with a 70+ year track record of delivering predictable outcomes is looking for a Commissioning Manager to plan, coordinate, execute, and oversee all commissioning activities across its projects. You'll bring deep expertise in the design, construction, and operation of MEP systems - with a strong focus on LEED Enhanced Commissioning and Building Envelope commissioning - and play a central role in driving the commissioning process through every phase to ensure quality and performance across all systems. This is a genuine opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical builds - data centers, hospitals, laboratories, and airports - within an established, respected business, with the flexibility of multiple locations across the region. Responsibilities Lead and collaborate with high-performing teams throughout the construction and commissioning lifecycle, especially on complex, mission-critical facilities Foster integration across disciplines - mechanical, electrical, controls, and operational technology platforms - to ensure seamless system performance Partner with technical experts and subject matter authorities to develop and refine process documentation aligned with organizational standards and best practices Create compelling written and visual documentation that clearly communicates systems design, intent, and operational functionality Apply experience and insight, alongside design and engineering teams, to define effective commissioning processes Interpret and analyze design plans and technical specifications with precision Gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Conduct thorough reviews of design drawings, engineering specifications, and equipment submittals Skills - Must Have Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, or 8+ years of relevant experience BCxA ACP or CCP certification (or equivalent) required Strong knowledge of ASHRAE commissioning procedures and MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, BAS, plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, and security Proven experience in project management and team leadership Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to lead and collaborate in high-performing teams Comfortable working in a mobile, dynamic environment Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards Experience with data centers and other mission-critical projects preferred Medical, Dental & Vision insurance, plus Health Savings Account and Healthcare & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) with employer match Employee Stock Purchase Plan Life & AD&D, Long-term & Short-term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident & Hospital Indemnity insurance Home & Auto insurance, Pet insurance, Identity Theft Protection, Group Legal Family support and pre-tax parking / public transportation Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and an Employee Assistance Program $130,000 - $200,000 base per annum, dependent on experience and level #J-18808-Ljbffr Hamilton Barnes ?
