  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Licenses/Certifications: LA State Licensure, BLS, NRP (required); ACLS, PALS (preferred); Valid Driver's License
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years, high-risk delivery + NICU/PICU support experience strongly preferred

What You'll Do

  • Provide respiratory care support across multiple treatment areas including ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, NICU, PICU, and high-risk deliveries
  • Manage airway and ventilator support, perform intubations as needed, and administer inhaled medications, including nitric oxide
  • Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal/neonatal intensive care units with essential interventions
  • Use advanced equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, V60, Vapotherm, NICU oscillators, and more
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Float between four campuses within 2025 minutes driving distance as needed

What You Need

Required:
  • LA State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
  • BLS and NRP Certifications
  • 2+ years of clinical experience with high-risk deliveries and NICU/PICU support
  • Proficiency in advanced airway management and ventilator support
  • Ability to work night shifts and float across multiple campuses
Preferred:
  • ACLS and PALS Certifications
  • Experience with neonatal intubation and advanced respiratory equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment This position is with a leading healthcare provider in Shreveport, Louisiana, supporting multiple campuses including ED, ICU, stepdown, and high-risk obstetric and neonatal units. You will be integral to delivering critical respiratory care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations.
