Digital Video Editor, TODAY Digital Want to work with one of America's most loved and trusted brands? The TODAY Digital team is a hub of creativity, imagination and collaboration. We’re looking for a talented and versatile Digital Video Editor to join our team. This role involves editing a wide range of content, from video podcasts and lifestyle pieces to social‑first vertical videos for TODAY platforms. This position is represented by the News Guild – NY CWA. Responsibilities Edit and deliver high‑quality video content for TODAY’s digital and social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, often on a tight deadline. Sync footage, cut full episodes, color correct, mix audio, and integrate motion graphics as needed. Color‑correct and tweak videos for optimal color and lighting. Create short, platform‑optimized vertical videos from longer features and podcast episodes. Collaborate closely with producers to craft cohesive, engaging edits that align with TODAY’s editorial voice and standards. Maintain organized workflows and delivery timelines across multiple concurrent edits. Stay informed of trends in digital and social video to help TODAY reach and inspire new audiences. Qualifications 5+ years of professional editing experience, ideally in a news or entertainment digital media environment. Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop). Proven experience cutting video podcasts, lifestyle content, and social‑first videos. Working knowledge of color correction, sound design, and motion graphics. Strong editorial judgment and storytelling instincts. Ability to work quickly, collaboratively, and calmly under deadline. Additional Requirements Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January52026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
