Senior Designer - Sleepwear

Our client, an apparel & sleepwear manufacturer, is looking for a Technical Designer to join their team in New York!Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.**WFH Flexibility on Fridays ResponsibilitiesConduct direct fittings on models and communicate fit and construction comments to factories.Prioritize and manage fit approvals and sample tracking from first fit through TOP, ensuring deadlines are met.Using sketches and/or samples from Design Team, create initial specs and update technical packs for different product categories.Work with designers and product development on product design to provide technical expertise on specs and construction.Independently track and prioritize sample flowIndependently review and approve pre-production samplesSpec out fit garments in all categories.Qualifications6-8 years of prior experience in Technical designDegree in pattern making and Technical design is preferredSelf-starter with ability to lead and function independentlyGreat attention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsTeam player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, strong communication skills and necessary follow throughProficient in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Work, Adobe Illustrator, and PhotoShopIf this sounds like a fit, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!We suggest that you ensure you have updated your LinkedIn profile and that you start collecting your references early. xhyhwjd You can use to collect and manage your references for free, and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
