Job Title: Material Handler / Reach Forklift Operator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Graham, NC
Pay: $23.65
Schedule: 7pm – 7am on a 2-2-3 schedule 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Reach Forklift Operator to support warehouse and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for staging materials, loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory throughout the facility, and ensuring materials are properly stored and distributed. This position requires forklift operation experience, attention to safety, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with staging jobs in various work areas
• Band skids and prepare materials for storage and transportation
• Load and unload trucks using company-provided equipment
• Move stock to and from loading docks and designated warehouse locations
• Distribute materials to appropriate departments and work centers
• Transport materials using forklift trucks, manual/electric pallet jacks, electric dollies, and related equipment
• Load materials into trucks and secure shipments using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and shelves
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including scrap removal and housekeeping activities
• Follow established safety procedures and promptly report or correct hazardous conditions
• Comply with all company policies, security protocols, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements
• Assist with inventory movement and material organization as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient warehouse and manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or material handling environment
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain certification
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to powered industrial trucks
• Experience operating manual and electric pallet jacks, electric dollies, and related material handling equipment
• Experience utilizing Management Information Systems (MIS) and company intranet platforms
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor forklift equipment issues
