The Role at a glance: Join our dynamic kitchen team as an experienced culinary supervisor in a correctional facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated group of employees, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to the highest culinary standards in a fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing: Instructing and training employees on food service best practices and sanitation standards. Ensuring meals are prepared and served on time, with a focus on portion control, presentation, and temperature quality. What we're looking for: A minimum of one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, quality establishment, with a focus on scratch cooking. Comprehensive knowledge of culinary methods and standards. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong product knowledge and a commitment to friendly, helpful customer service. Experience supervising a team effectively. Nice-to-haves: Food Handlers certification preferred.
