Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Dothan, AL Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Full-Time onsite night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Dothan, Alabama. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients. Accurately document patient information and care activities within the facility EMR system (Cerner). Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or a compact state. Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start date. Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the facility. Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience with Cerner electronic medical records. Previous travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
