divh2Fleet Maintenance Manager/h2pPosition Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager/ppReports To: General Manager/ppPosition Summary/ppThe Fleet Maintenance Manager leads all maintenance and repair operations for the paratransit fleet. This role oversees a team of mechanics, manages preventive maintenance schedules, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains safe, road-ready vehicles to support service delivery./ppEssential Duties Responsibilities/pp Direct daily activities of mechanics and maintenance personnel./pp Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and road calls./pp Maintain accurate maintenance records compliant with standards./pp Manage inventory, parts ordering, and vendor relationships./pp Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and equipment readiness./pp Train and evaluate maintenance staff./pp Support budgeting for materials, staffing, and equipment./pp Coordinate emergency maintenance support as needed./ppMinimum Qualifications/pp 5+ years of fleet maintenance or automotive operations experience./pp Supervisory experience in a maintenance shop./pp Strong knowledge of DOT, ADA, and paratransit vehicle requirements./pp Ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules and documentation./pp Excellent communication and leadership skills./ppPreferred Qualifications/pp ASE certifications (A1A9, H8) or OEM training./pp Experience managing a fleet of 70+ vehicles./pp Experience in public transit or paratransit maintenance./ppSkills Competencies/pp Technical maintenance proficiency/pp Team leadership/pp Recordkeeping accuracy/pp Budget and inventory management/pp Problem-solving and decision-making/ppKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)/pp PM on-time completion rate/pp Road call reduction/pp Vehicle availability percentage/pp Shop safety compliance/pp Accuracy of maintenance records/ppWork Environment Physical Requirements/pp Maintenance shop environment with exposure to noise and equipment./pp Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and climb onto vehicles./pp May require weekend or emergency availability./ppWhy Work With Us/ppJoin an experienced maintenance team committed to safety, reliability, and high-quality fleet performance.
