Mobile Development Engineer

Salary: $125,000 - 175,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least five years of experience in hardware and software configuration and mobile application development.
• We are looking for strong knowledge of the mobile application lifecycle, from interface design to relational database structures, using tools and languages such as C++, C#, JavaScript, and XAML/WPF.
• We expect the ability to think critically and convert stakeholder needs into practical mobile solutions.
• We need excellent communication skills to present progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to both teammates and stakeholders.
• We seek a solid background in testing, debugging, and validating complex hardware and software systems.
• We require a bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related equivalent.
• We require the role to be performed onsite at our Alexandria, Virginia headquarters.

• We design, build, test, and maintain software applications running on Microsoft Windows 11 IoT Enterprise and communicating securely over cellular or satellite web services.
• We partner with design teams to define and deliver mobile features while maintaining quality and performance.
• We work with systems engineers and logistics staff to keep documentation, imaging, configuration, and deployment processes aligned across the full lifecycle.
• We develop and maintain Microsoft Deployment Toolkit packages, imaging scripts, Active Directory Group Policy Objects, and Windows drivers for tablet devices.
• We apply application-related STIGs, carry out SCAP validation and vulnerability testing, and prepare documentation to meet Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements.
• We analyze and resolve communication, software, hardware, and application issues that affect mobile device operations.
• We provide technical guidance at the application level to support standardization, compliance, reliability, and strong application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
