Make a positive difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment near San Jose, CA. This full-time role runs from August 11th through November 10th, offering a rewarding opportunity to support educational and communication goals for students in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to a diverse student population, both individually and in small groups
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student learning
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school guidelines and regulations
• Offer guidance and resources for classroom strategies to enhance student communication
