Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at De Luna Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients and residents, while maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook large quantities of food for patients and residents, ensuring that all meals meet our high standards of quality and presentation

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines

• Supervise and train other kitchen staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations

• Collaborate with dietary staff to develop menus and special diets for patients and residents

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident and patient requests and preferences

Requirements:

• Cook with at least 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and equipment
