You should not apply for this role if you will require Toyota to assist with immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.Who we’re looking forToyota’s Plant Engineering (PLE) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer to join our Advanced Planning team.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this individual will work closely with customers to understand the scope of their projects and ensure the funding is properly allocated and budgeted. In this role, the Engineer will also work closely with the Accounting team to ensure the smooth flow of information and provide follow-up as needed. Additionally, they may oversee the management of the department's drawing repository.What you’ll be doing Apply proven experience in plant planning, project management, construction, and building design to ensure project estimates are in line with customer and budgetary requirementsApply experience with capital budgeting and evaluate expenses for capitalization or operating expense classificationUtilize strong analytical skills to help improve department budgetary process, improve tracking tools, and support quicker decision makingApply proficiency in AutoCAD/Autodesk (reading, understanding, and the ability to update construction drawings)Utilize excellent communication skills and a customer first mind setWhat you bring Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or similar)Intermediate level experience of computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Copilot)Proficiency with CAD, preferably Autodesk or similarAdded bonus if you haveExperience with SAP and/or AribaExperience with PowerBIProfessional Engineering LicenseExperience in industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.)Experience in industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher)Experience in industrial structural steel systemsExperience in large scale civil installationsWhat we’ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
