What You’ll Do Lead a winning team on your shift, setting a cheerful, can‑do attitude that motivates teammates. Provide clear direction and step in to assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling. Coach team members in real time, offering guidance and support throughout the shift. Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary. Drive operational excellence by meeting RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards. Ensure proper execution of inventory, vendor check‑in, and promotional communication. Oversee key store processes such as write‑offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation. Communicate important updates from the leadership team to shift associates and ensure clear understanding. Monitor task completion, provide immediate feedback, and drive results. Train staff on policies, procedures, food promotions, and safety regulations. Maintain inventory control, accurate receiving, and cash wrap controls. Collaborate with vendors to meet RaceTrac expectations while fostering positive relationships. Support the team culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork, and step in during busy periods or challenges. Qualifications 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service. 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred. Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑volume, guest‑focused environments. Strong communication and team‑building skills. High school diploma or GED (in progress or completed). Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks. Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handler, alcohol server, etc.). What’s in It for You?
