Financial Analyst

Duties

You will be in the Financial Management Branch providing support to the Business Operations Division Head.

You will serve as a financial analyst and Government Purchase Card Holder for Commander Navy Regional Maintenance Centers (CNRMC).

You will provide financial/analytical studies and management reviews on budgetary, financial, and requirement issues supporting CNRMC and the RMCs.

You will recommend financial/budget execution improvements by analysis of financial data collected from various Automated Information Systems.

You will collect/evaluate standardized processes to drive process improvement.

You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.

You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs and activities, to include presenting and defending budget estimates, reviewing and evaluating budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.

You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices.

You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization programs and administrative operations; implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.

You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.

You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, financial management, and RMC workload requirement duties and responsibilities may also be performed by incumbents of this position.
