Program Overview The PCT Apprenticeship Program is structured around a combination of classroom training and preceptorship on a unit. It is designed to train eager and compassionate candidates who are interested in a career in the Nursing field. Following successful completion of this program, you will go from a PCT Apprentice to a Patient Care Technician for Hackensack Meridian Health! Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
