Trauma Burn Program Nurse

The Trauma Burn Program is a Level 1 Trauma Center and verified Burn Center, certified by the American College of Surgeons. It has a 10 bed ICU and 6 bed acute care unit. Adult and pediatric patients are admitted to the burn center. Adult trauma patients are admitted who have sustained multiple trauma and non-trauma emergency illnesses. Nurses provide safe and effective nursing care to an assigned patient population. Have the ability to function as part of a health team and also work closely with patient families. Michigan Medicine's Trauma Burn ICU has received the Silver Beacon Award from AACN!

Current Michigan RN license.

Current (at least one year) experience in an adult ICU or Emergency Department.

Two (2) or more years experience with trauma and/or burn patients.

CCRN and/or ACLS certification.

Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

BSN preferred

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81/ hour

• Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
• Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
• Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
• Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
• Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
• Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F. Hours: 36 hours per week Shifts: Nights, 12 hr shifts, every other weekend All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
