Residential Journeyman Electrician - Service Calls

Overview We are a top‑rated electrical contractor based in the San Fernando Valley (Reseda) seeking a Journeyman* electrician with residential service experience to perform service‑based jobs, including troubleshooting, lighting installation, panel upgrades, EV chargers, and other electrical service tasks. Our work is primarily residential with some commercial projects in Los Angeles County and does not involve new construction. Responsibilities Perform service calls independently using a company‑provided work truck and carrying all required materials. Diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential and commercial settings. Install lighting, upgrade panels, rewire houses, bend conduit, and install EV chargers. Sell jobs and handle customer interactions professionally. Report to the Reseda office at the start and end of each workday. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience performing service calls in residential homes. In‑depth knowledge of electrical code; Journeyman license not required. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to complete jobs without supervision. Must be fluent in English. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Clean driving record and background check required. Must live within 30 miles of the Reseda office. Work Details Job Type: Full‑time Schedule: Monday – Friday Travel requirement: Company‑provided work truck; must be available in the Los Angeles County area.
