V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring Database Administrator for our premier client in Dallas, Texas.

Education and Experience "

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited university, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology.
• 8 years of experience performing SQL Server Applications (MSBI, SQL) Database Administration on Windows platforms.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic experience in ETL design and development experience working with SQL stored procedures and/or ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS.
• Must be willing to work in an on-call production support model

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Applications & SQL server databases (Latest versions) in production, development, UAT and test environments.
• Assists in the development of high quality efficient ETL applications leveraging Transact-SQL stored procedures and other ETL environments.
• Monitor the SQL Server database/Business Intelligence environment including ETL Jobs, Database Refreshes and Maintenance jobs.
• Perform backup and restore all databases.
• Assist in deploying database scripts requested by the Application Development Team.
• Managing database schemas, objects Tables, Views, Functions, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Cursors using Transact-SQL for various business applications.
