Growth Merchant Lead

Associate Growth Merchant LeadOur client is seeking an Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to join their Outside Sales team supporting Emerging Markets. In this field-based sales role, you will help expand the company's presence in untapped and primarily rural markets by building partnerships with local and regional restaurants. You will own a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle, meet restaurant owners face-to-face, communicate the value of partnering with our client, and negotiate revenue-share agreements. This position works closely with a Regional Sales Manager and includes access to market insights and sales tools such as sales sheets, gift cards, and business cards.Location & Travel Must live within 40 minutes of Charleston, WV Travel is required for at least 50% of the role Most travel will be within approximately two hours of the assigned city Some overnight travel, extended driving days, and occasional flights may be required Approved travel expenses will be covered and monitored for complianceKey Responsibilities Expand our client's footprint across assigned emerging markets Identify, engage, and sign new restaurant partners Present the partnership value proposition to restaurant owners Negotiate revenue-share agreements and close new business efficiently Manage a high-volume, short sales cycle and close deals within days Use a blend of inside and outside sales strategies to achieve territory goals Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to plan market coverage and sales activity Build scalable sales strategies and playbooks for continued market growthQualifications 2.5+ years of successful sales experience in a closing sales role or related environment Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses is strongly preferred Restaurant, food and beverage, or hospitality sales experience is a plus Strong face-to-face relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and meet performance goals Comfortable with frequent travel and working in a field sales environment Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop practical, repeatable growth strategiesLocated in Charleston, WV 1 year contract (full time hours) $29/hr
