Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population in a general Medical Surgical unit
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6
• Utilize facility systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday work requirements based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or a valid Compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-onsite

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a general Medical Surgical unit setting
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and onboarding requirements
