This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires strong technical expertise and the ability to solve problems independently. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through a consistent commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will manage your own territory and work closely with healthcare providers and patients to support optimal equipment performance, user training, and overall service delivery. This role supports Boston Scientifics Cardiovascular Division, including products such as IVUS, AVVIGO, AngioJet, ICEfx, FARAPULSE, Rhythmia, and SmartFreeze systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams may include support for sales, complaint resolution, event coverage, and field documentation, depending on business needs. The selected candidate will reside in Ohio, providing coverage to the Northeast Region of the U.S. as needed. This position offers a high level of independence, with support and collaboration from senior team members as required./ph3Your Responsibilities Will Include:/h3ulliProvide on-site service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical systems and equipment/liliTrain and educate medical staff on equipment use, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting/liliDeliver technical support for field escalations, customer concerns, and warranty inquiries/liliManage routine and emergency service requests within your assigned territory/liliAccurately document service events, complaint information, and system updates using internal tools/liliAdhere to standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements/liliParticipate in projects, event support, or cross-functional tasks as required by the business unit/liliMaintain strong communication with internal teams, customers, and leadership regarding service activities and priorities/li/ulh3Required Qualifications:/h3ulliMinimum 3 years of experience with an Associates degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role./liliMinimum of 1 year in a role requiring travel to customer or field/remote sites/liliStrong understanding of electronic systems, including analog and digital circuitry/liliProficiency in troubleshooting and servicing complex technical or medical equipment/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset/liliAbility to travel approximately 75% of the time to service customers, sometimes on short notice/liliAbility to work independently and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision/liliValid drivers license, clean driving record, and access to a reliable service vehicle that meets company insurance requirements/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulliPrior technical field service, biomedical, or military technical MOS experience/liliExperience in hospital or ambulatory surgery environments/liliCertification or coursework in Laser Technology, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering/liliStrong proficiency with business systems and Microsoft Office Suite/li/ul/div
