Who in turn, specialize in supporting you with: Project Managers Administrators Operators Millwrights Insulators HVAC Fork Lift Drivers Plumbers Roofers Job Description The Plumber will: Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes Study building plans and working drawings to determine required work tools and equipment, and sequence of installations Inspect structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening the structure resulting from pipe installation Locate and mark pipes and connection positions and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob Use hand and power tools to cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Use pipe cutters, cutting torch and pipe-threading machine to cut and thread pipes Use pipe bending machine to bend pipe to required angles Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes made from metals or non-metals Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints Fill pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to ensure system is not leaking Install and repair plumbing fixtures, sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains May perform welding Maintain pool equipment including sand filters, pumps and accessory equipment, chemical feed pumps, tubing and control system Qualifications Have plumbing license Be punctual and dependable Be able to pass a background and drug screen Have all appropriate PPE (hard hat, work boots, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, etc.) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
