The SAP HCM Sr. Business Systems Analyst at Hyundai/Kia Motors Manufacturing serves as a senior functional and technical expert responsible for delivering and optimizing Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions across SAP HR and SAP SuccessFactors. This role partners closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and Korea HQ to design, implement, and support scalable, best-in-class HR systems that align with global standards and evolving business needs.
As a key member of the global HR technology function, the analyst ensures seamless integration, reliability, and continuous improvement of SAP SuccessFactors and related SAP ERP modules, applying deep business process knowledge and system expertise to drive operational excellence and enhanced employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
- SAP HCM Solution Design & Delivery
Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP HR and SuccessFactors solutions, ensuring alignment with end-to-end HR processes and business requirements. - Functional Expertise & Advisory
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing expert-level guidance on SAP HCM modules, SuccessFactors, and integrated cloud solutions, including best practices and process optimization. - System Support & Continuous Improvement
Deliver advanced application support, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive ongoing enhancements and maintenance for SAP ECC HCM and SaaS platforms such as SuccessFactors. - Business Process Optimization & Configuration
Analyze HR business needs, translate them into system requirements, and configure SAP systems using the implementation guide to enable efficient, scalable business processes. - Global Collaboration & Governance
Partner with Korea HQ, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to support system evolution, ensure compliance with IT methodologies, and maintain alignment with Hyundai/Kia’s global HR technology strategy.
- Supervisory Responsibility: None
- Decision Making: Handles diverse, moderately complex issues requiring data analysis and sound judgment; collaborates with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Results Accountability: Escalates issues outside scope to ensure business needs are met.
- Strategy & Direction: Operates with minimal daily supervision; receives general direction for new initiatives.
- 7+ years of experience in HRIS or IT application environments, including deep expertise in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors modules
- Ability to clearly communicate and champion complex technical concepts to business partners, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate detailed requirements into actionable solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders globally
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed, global organization and collaborate across distributed teams
- Strong customer service mindset with negotiation, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, or a related field
- SAP HR and/or SAP SuccessFactors certification
- PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification
- Experience working in cross-functional or global environments (e.g., collaboration with HQ or external partners)
