Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to provide comprehensive neurological care in a strictly outpatient setting in Long Island, NY. The physician will diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Assignment Details

• Outpatient-only practice

• 8-hour shifts

• 40 hours per week (full-time option)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations for patients with neurological disorders.

• Diagnose and manage conditions including epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathies, headaches, and movement disorders.

• Interpret neuroimaging studies (MRI, CT).

• Interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EEG, EMG).

• Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management.

• Provide ongoing follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation and patient charting within EMR/EHR systems.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology (BC/BE).

• Minimum 3 years of outpatient clinical experience preferred.

• Active or eligible for New York State medical licensure.

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in neurological care.

• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
