Summary

The Designated Selling Associate drives sales for a represented brand through customer service, product expertise, and relationship building. The role includes in-store and digital selling, appointment-based selling, and supporting an engaging, customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools, including text, social media, and reservations.
• Build lasting customer relationships and offer confident guidance on style, fit, and product value.
• Share brand trends and product knowledge with colleagues and provide product feedback to the department manager.
• Maintain a customer-ready department through stocking, merchandising, transfers, markdowns, and cleaning.
• Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and scheduling customer appointments.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and cultivate customer relationships.
• Ability to work in a competitive team environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Ability to understand sales reporting and educate customers about products and brands.
