Practice Specifics
- Join another internist and 6 FP Physicians in a beautiful Lakefront community of 10,000.
- Primarily an office-based practice in space connected to the hospital.
- Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post-discharge.
- Anticipated weekly work schedule: 8-5, M-F plus call rotation. Back-up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA.
- Anticipated volume of office patients per day: 15-22/day
- Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed M/S unit in the only Hospital in the County.
- Average daily census of unit: ICU = 4; MSP = 15
Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
Location
- Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area on scenic Detroit Lake.
- 1 hour from Fargo (international airport/shopping) and 3 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.
- Detroit Lakes population: 10,000
- Excellent school system and reasonable home costs.
- Abundant family outdoor recreational activities year-round.
- NHSC Loan Repayment Site
Compensation
- $352,587. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
