About the Position

We are hiring a Local CDL A Driver in Shwanee, Kansas, offering $28 per hour. This position involves local routes delivering auto parts to various store locations, ensuring you’re home daily. The driver must be willing to cover both day and night shifts. Our client provides real support from a dedicated team to help you succeed in this role. A Hazmat endorsement is required for this position.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay Rate: $28 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
Layover pay: $125
Schedule: Must be available to cover either day or night shifts, Monday-Friday

Job Details

Route Type: Local
Freight: Auto parts
Equipment: Operating an automatic 53' trailer, either in a day cab/straight truck or sleeper
Handling: Using an electric pallet jack to unload freight
Stops: Completing approximately 35 stops per week

Key Responsibilities

Hauling auto parts to stores on local routes
Ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety protocols

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A
3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Hazmat endorsement required
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
