Sr. Software Engineer - Owner/Investor

Full Stack Senior Software Engineer – Investor Segment Responsibilities Build a deep understanding of the Investor Owner segment, enabling you and your team to truly own the domain. Become a master of your software engineering craft and work with other software engineers who are both teachers and learners. Develop scalable, robust, and simple web‑based solutions to solve complex business problems for our customers. Mentor and guide other software engineers. Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance. Use test‑driven development, code reviews, and continuous integration to deliver high‑quality software. Work closely with team members, QA, product owners, and designers to incorporate feedback and maintain a high level of trust and respect. Take ownership of your problem space, reflect on and learn from failures, and celebrate successes. Work in an agile environment, turning complex problems into deliverables and executing quickly while limiting work in progress. Research, share, and recommend new technologies and trends. Maintain a high standard of engineering excellence, advocate for code quality, and evangelize best practices. Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing and scaling web‑based applications, preferably in a SaaS environment. Proven experience across all levels of the development stack. Strong familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, AWS, and service‑oriented architecture. Experience with Agile development processes such as Scrum or Kanban. Proficiency in Test‑Driven Development. Creativity and proactivity—able to solve complex problems without a roadmap. Passion for learning new technologies while leveraging existing solutions when appropriate. Commitment to long‑term maintainability, refactoring, and code cleanliness. Ability to balance business outcomes with technical goals. Respect for work‑life balance and disciplined time management. Additional Skills and Knowledge Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. Comfortable working with remote team members. Compensation & Benefits The base salary for this role is $138,400–$173,000. The actual salary will depend on your skills, experience, and other factors.
