Job Summary

Racine Railroad Products is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Part-Time Grounds Keeper to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of our facility grounds. This position is primarily responsible for lawn care, landscaping upkeep, and general grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean and professional outdoor environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns throughout company property.
• Maintain landscaping beds by removing weeds, debris, and unwanted vegetation.
• Prune shrubs, bushes, and small trees as needed.
• Collect and dispose of litter and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor common areas.
• Clean and maintain outdoor seating areas, walkways, and building entrances.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on lawn care equipment and hand tools.
• Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance concerns.
• Assist with seasonal property upkeep, including leaf removal and general landscaping projects.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance of company grounds at all times.
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, lawn care, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

• Flexible part-time schedule.
• Competitive hourly wage of $25.00 per hour.
