Title
Registered Nurse - Perioperative Care

Requirements
- New York nursing license required and must be active at the time of submission.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Epic charting experience is a hard requirement.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Mandatory competencies: Phlebotomy and IV insertion.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative and post-anesthesia care for patients in Phase I and II recovery.
- Conduct post-operative assessments and patient education.
- Manage monitored anesthesia care and pain control through PCA.
- Perform airway assessments and basic hemodynamic monitoring.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient support.

Compliance / Notes
- Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 day per contract.
- Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Return-staff policy: 1 year.
- Pre-start modules required, billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours.
