Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$3400.00/week –

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab RN position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The role requires flexibility, technical expertise, and the ability to work on a demanding schedule with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization or EP procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to ensure procedures are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Manage on-call duties, including responding to emergencies during weekends and evenings as scheduled.
• Educate patients about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery expectations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with relevant clinical experience in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology labs.
• Prior experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP lab highly preferred.
• Ability to respond effectively to on-call emergencies, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, equipment, and protocols.
