Quality Specialist

Position Summary Profab Electronics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to support our quality electronics manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations related to internal rework and customer returns. This role reports to the Quality Manager and requires a strong understanding of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), regulatory compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Specialist will ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal quality objectives while supporting a culture of operational excellence throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming and in process inspections based on defect trends Work with quality manager to update and ensure all quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and records remain current, effective, and compliant. Prepare detailed quality investigation reports for leadership. Prepare quality metrics, compliance status, and improvement initiatives to management. Support quality reviews and supplier quality initiatives as needed. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned with the ability to handle multiple activities in parallel. Required Qualifications Applicants must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). Experience in electronics manufacturing quality systems within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems. Experience in corrective and preventive action programs. Ability to analyze and problem-solve. Strong written, verbal, and communication skills. Experience with creating quality metrics, statistical analysis, and quality reporting tools.
