The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.

This as a new startup program with an expected start date of December 14, 2026

Shifts Available:

Hours: 7:00 AM7:30 PM or 7:00 PM7:30 AM

Days: SunTues or WedFri

Expected starting wage range: $29.13$33.50/hr.

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certificate
• San Bernardino County FACT programs: Must have two (2) years of experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)

Located on the Wellness Village Campus, the Telecare Wellness Village Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) operates 24/7 and serves 50 individuals who are Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) or otherwise court-ordered to this level of care. The program provides up to 50 residential beds for both male and female clients. It primarily serves IST consumers referred by the Superior Court, Riverside Sheriff's Office (RSO), or Riverside University Health SystemBehavioral Health (RUHS-BH). The facility also supports individuals requiring residential services through Laura's Law/AOT and other RUHS-BH and Superior Court diversion programs.
