About the Role:
As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of recreational activities and events for our residents. This may include but is not limited to:
• Planning and executing daily activities , games, and events that cater to different interests and abilities
• Coordinating with residents, families, and staff to ensure that activities are enjoyable and responsive to resident needs
• Assisting with daily operations , such as scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of activities, attendance, and resident participation
• Partnering with other departments to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily life at the community
Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in activities, recreation, or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of scheduling software
