SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort & Vineyard is seeking a Front Desk Associate Trainee who is reliable, punctual, and eager to learn. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and supporting guest services, without requiring prior hospitality experience.

This position focuses on assisting the Front Desk team with day-to-day operations, guest support tasks, and property coordination. Responsibilities :

• Greet guests warmly and direct them to appropriate team members for assistance.
• Support and assist Front Desk operations with answering phone calls.
• Assist with delivering guest items (linens, amenities, firewood, etc.) as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and guest areas.
• Stock and organize the Shop and assist with merchandising as needed.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with order coordination and kitchen cleanliness.
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding guest needs and requests.
• Assist management with operational support tasks.
• Monitor and restock supplies in guest-facing areas.
• Provide general assistance to ensure smooth daily operations across departments.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures.

What we need from you:

• Experience: No prior hospitality experience required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Certifications: TABC and Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Work Ethic: Strong reliability, punctuality, and willingness to take initiative.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently across the property, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Scheduling Requirements: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
