Position Overview Acculon Energy is seeking a hands‑on and highly motivated Production Supervisor to support the launch and daily operation of the company’s first advanced battery module manufacturing and battery pack assembly facility in Mason, Ohio. The Production Supervisor will play a critical leadership role in establishing a high‑performance manufacturing culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for leading day‑to‑day production activities, supervising hourly manufacturing personnel, coordinating cross‑functional support activities, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. Unlike a traditional supervisor role within a mature manufacturing organization, this position will operate within a startup manufacturing environment where flexibility, initiative, and leadership presence are essential. The successful candidate will help build manufacturing processes, team culture, and operational standards during a critical growth phase for the company. This role requires a strong balance of leadership capability, operational execution, manufacturing discipline, and hands‑on problem solving. Core Areas of Responsibility Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations for assigned production areas and/or shifts Provide direction, coaching, and support to production operators and manufacturing technicians Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and operational discipline across the production floor Support employee training, onboarding, and performance development activities Safety, Quality & Operational Execution Ensure manufacturing operations are executed in accordance with safety, quality, and production standards Support adherence to standardized work instructions and manufacturing procedures Monitor production output, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and operational performance Escalate and coordinate resolution of production, quality, or equipment‑related issues Cross‑Functional Coordination Coordinate daily activities with maintenance, quality, warehouse/logistics, and production planning teams Support material flow and line readiness to maintain production continuity Assist with implementation of process improvements and operational changes Startup Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Help establish manufacturing processes, workflows, and operational standards Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Support operational scaling activities as manufacturing volumes increase Contribute to development of a positive, high‑performance manufacturing culture Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who is comfortable operating in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and who can balance production execution with people leadership and operational problem solving. Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong leadership presence Accountability Operational organization The ability to maintain calm and effective decision‑making under pressure Candidates should be comfortable spending the majority of their time on the manufacturing floor actively supporting production operations and engaging directly with team members. Experience within automotive, battery, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or other high‑volume production environments is strongly preferred. Qualifications 3–7 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience Experience leading hourly production personnel in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety, and quality systems Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational activities simultaneously Strong communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives preferred Why This Role Matters The Production Supervisor will serve as one of the key operational leaders responsible for helping Acculon Energy successfully scale its first manufacturing operation.
