Position Summary As an Ace Hardware Sales Associate at Van Marcke Trade Supply, you will provide friendly service to customers, assist with sales, and maintain the store’s appearance and inventory. Responsibilities Assist customers by answering questions and locating merchandise. Handle receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise. Maintain a clean and orderly store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area. Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area. Assist with merchandise resets throughout the store. Perform key‑holder duties as needed. Comply with all store policies and local, state, and federal regulations. Follow any additional duties assigned by the store manager or upper management. Requirements High school diploma; some college preferred. Previous retail experience in sales or merchandising. Knowledge of hardware and plumbing products, and willingness to learn. Flexible work schedule: weekday and weekend shifts. Ability to travel to other store locations if required. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
