Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical unit. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, demonstrating teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment as per physician's orders.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting all findings and changes in the patient's condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to unit policies and best practices in clinical procedures.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
