Job Requirements

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or equivalent

Licenses: Active unrestricted IN Medical License, IN State Controlled Substance, DEA w/ IN address

DEA / CDS: Active DEA with IN address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4

Certifications: BLS/CPR

Experience: EM residency within past 12 months or IM with 5+ years continuous full-time high-volume ED experience

Other Qualifications: Case logs past 2 years, completed CME Attestation, Flu/TB/COVID immunizations

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour physician coverage in the Emergency Department

Manage approximately 17,000 annual ED visits in a 15-bed ED

Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed

Collaborate with APC support during 10-hour daily coverage

Utilize modern EMR with streamlined charting workflows to enhance efficiency
