Federal Government Capture Manager, Strategic Pursuits - Government

The candidate leads cross‑functional teams to prepare proposals and navigate all phases from opportunity identification to contract implementation, building effective relationships and coordinating resources across multiple functions to present competitive solutions. Job Responsibilities Develop strategic sales plans to identify and prioritize must‑win federal government contract opportunities Lead cross‑functional teams to prepare and present competitive proposals that align with government requirements Build and maintain ongoing relationships with key federal government agencies and support systems Analyze and elevate solution gaps to leadership to improve contract win potential Develop teaming arrangements with primes, integrators, and specialty partners to strengthen our competitive position on priority government solicitations Identify and pursue upsell opportunities by aligning additional solutions with federal customer needs Perform other duties and projects assigned by business management as needed Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED (Required) 7‑10 years of experience in federal/SLED government capture management, including pre‑solicitation engagement, GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, IDIQ/GWAC vehicle strategy, and a strong solicitation win rate (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills (Required) Industry knowledge (Required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required) Negotiation skills (Required) Presentation skills (Required) Proposal management experience (Required) Sales experience (Required) Sales leadership experience (Required) Strategic planning skills (Required) At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel Travel Required: Yes DOT Regulated DOT Regulated Position: No Safety Sensitive Position: No Base Pay Range $120,500 – $217,400. Corporate bonus target: 20% of base pay. In addition to the pay range, eligible employees may receive an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on company and/or individual performance. Employees may also receive a year‑end bonus or monthly bonuses for certain positions. Pay will vary with location, qualifications and experience.
